Uberoi Foundation Leadership

Jim Polsfut, Executive Director

Throughout a career now spanning more than twenty-five years, Jim Polsfut has served as a manager of financial services companies and non-profit organizations. In 2008, he was named as the founding Executive Director of the Uberoi Foundation for Religious Studies. Currently, he also serves as the President of the Cordillera Foundation, a 501c3 organization which promotes dialogue on the Western Hemisphere and which engages in international grant-making. In addition, Mr. Polsfut chairs the Colorado Commission on Higher Education, the regulatory body of the 22 public universities and colleges in the State of Colorado, and he serves on the board of the University of Denver Social Science Foundation and the Child and Family Development Committee of the Rose Community Foundation.

Mr. Polsfut earned an undergraduate degree in government from Harvard University in 1983 and a masters degree in business administration from Stanford University in 1989. He lives in Arvada, Colorado, with his son, Javier.
